Samsung comes with the cheapest 3G full touch phone

Samsung is on a roll these days, coming out with cheap and touch screen phones one after the other. But what makes its latest offering, the Samsung Star Nano, special is its 3G feature, priced at an affordable Rs. 7320.

Among its specs, it has 2.6 inches QVGA display, 35MB internal memory (expandable up to 16GB), 1.3 megapixel camera, music recognition, FM radio, video recording. The device also supports class 10 GPRS and EDGE technology along with Bluetooth feature.

Compared with its previous touch screen phone that Samsung released few days ago, Samsung Champ, this device has a bigger screen display and double the memory.

For those hooked on to social networking, this phone integrates instant chat messenger facilities like GTalk, AIM, and Palringo Chat.


Packing in a wide range of specifications, the Star Nano 3G is a compact handset and comes with few additional features like English dictionary, mobile prayer, weather forecast and share market trends.


"The launch of Star Nano 3G is a significant landmark for Samsung as it represents our most affordable 3G touch screen handset as well as strengthens our portfolio of 3G enabled handsets when the country gears up for the roll-out of 3G services very soon", said Ranjit Yadav, Director- Mobile & IT, Samsung India.


The phone can be an interesting option for the Indian customer who can avail the forthcoming 3G facilities in the country with this reasonably priced handset.
